Honoring Our Heroes with Quilts of Valor

The Quilts of Valor Foundation honors Service Members and Veterans touched by war with handcrafted quilts that offer comfort and healing. Each quilt is a tangible expression of gratitude for the sacrifices made in service to our nation.

These meaningful quilts are awarded to living veterans and service members from all military branches who served in declared war, conflict, or peacekeeping missions and hold an Honorable or General discharge. For those who have faced the realities of war, a Quilt of Valor represents warmth, recognition of their courage, and a reminder that they are not forgotten. The comforting embrace of these quilts helps bring healing to those who answered the call to serve.

We are honored to recognize Post 277 Veterans First Vice Commander Theresa Garson and Finance Officer Sheryl Eberly, who each received a handmade Quilt of Valor in appreciation of their dedicated service to our country.

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk Silva also presented them with a Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the State of California! It was a beautiful night and congrats to our Veterans!
