You Are Not Alone

The Placentia Police Department is pleased to introduce our Y.A.N.A. (You

Are Not Alone) program to our community.

The Y.A.N.A. program, coordinated through our VIPS (Volunteers In Police

Services) will make regular contact with participants, either through phone

calls or home visits, or a combination of both, depending on the individual

needs of each participant.

Our VIPS do not provide medical assistance but rather offer a measure of

security to participants and their families, that extra, regularly scheduled

attention is being paid to them.
