About Us

The Placentia FiberCity® is privately funded and built citywide. It’s an open access fiber network which will pass every home and business in Placentia, enabling everyone in the city to connect and will help to close the digital divide. The city will benefit hugely from the network which will boost economic growth and stabilize the future of the city, enabling growth of existing businesses and attract new businesses to operate in the city. The network will also enable the city to take advantage of smart city applications to help them achieve their long-term objectives and make the city a great place to live, work and play. The network’s open access credentials means multiple service providers can connect to deliver their service and the city will only ever need this network, eradicating overbuilding in the city.
