About Us

Hi, I’m Leyla. I’ve lived in Placentia for 36 years, and this community has truly shaped who I am. I’m passionate about giving back, and I stay involved in local philanthropy, from supporting school fundraisers and youth programs to volunteering at community events whenever I can.

Outside of that, I love staying active, spending meaningful time with my family, and finding ways to bring people together. Whether it’s organizing neighborhood gatherings, helping with school activities, or simply being present for the people I care about, I try to lead with kindness, connection, and service.

HR Buddy OC is all about providing real, practical HR support to small and mid-sized businesses across California. I focus on helping business owners feel confident and supported by taking the stress out of HR, whether that’s day-to-day employee issues, compliance needs, or creating smoother processes for their teams.

I offer hands-on help with employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, leave of absence and ADA support, wage-and-hour compliance, investigations, handbooks and policies, workers’ comp guidance, ergonomics, and OSHA-aligned safety training. I also assist with recruiting, performance conversations, and building simple, scalable HR systems that actually work for the business.
