About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to support our small business’s online presence. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in social media management, digital communication, and marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with our team to update and grow our social platforms, manage website content, and assist with digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with developing a consistent posting calendar to keep audiences engaged.
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement across platforms.
- Research trends, hashtags, and content ideas relevant to our brand and industry.
Website Updates
- Update company website pages with new content, imagery, announcements, or product/service information.
- Assist in keeping website information accurate and user-friendly.
- Upload blogs, testimonials, or media as needed.
Digital Marketing & Media Campaigns
- Support the creation and distribution of email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional messages.
- Help coordinate marketing campaigns across platforms, including special promotions or seasonal content.
- Assist in tracking campaign performance metrics and preparing simple reports.
Brand & Creative Support
- Help develop visuals, graphics, or short videos for social media and website use.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels.
Qualifications
- Interest in social media management, marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (personal or professional use).
- Basic understanding of content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
