DESCRIPTION:Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving\, during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. The aim of Small Business Saturday is to boost support of small businesses across the country and to act as a shopping alternative to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.\n\n\n\nThis year your Placentia Chamber of Commerce is rallying the neighborhood to Shop Small by inviting the community to join us for a scavenger hunt on Small Business Saturday. On Saturday November 25th\, Placentians will have a chance test their knowledge of their neighborhood\, enjoy shopping at fun and unique stores and restaurants and have a chance to win some great prizes!\n\n\n\nThe rules are simple\; pick up your Shop Small Placentia Scavenger Hunt Map at the Placentia Library or at www.placentiachamber.com on or before Saturday November 25th.  Based on the clues\, find the "scavenger" item in the business and list it on the map. Every 5 correct answers will earn you 1 raffle entry. Post a picture* to facebook or twitter with #shopsmallplacentia and earn an additional entry.  Turn in your completed scavenger hunt sheet to the Placentia Library by Sunday December 3rd or email to info@placentiachamber.com for a chance to win prizes from participating retailers!  \n\n\n\nWhy go out of the community for your basic needs when you can shop right here in Placentia?
